AAS-DPS

Eye-catching iPosters at this year’s AAS-DPS (Division for Planetary Sciences) annual meeting. The in-person component of this hybrid event was held in London, Ontario. It was also set up to allow virtual participants to take part. The conference showcased presentations from researchers whose interests lie within the broad spectrum of subjects that make up the astronomical sciences. In total there were 50 screens set up at the event and over 140 iPosters showcased in the poster gallery. The iPosters were also available online for participants attending the conference virtually.

EVS

Joe was onsite in Philly for the annual meeting of the Eastern Vascular Society organized by Well Assembled Meetings. There were over 70 posters available to view over 10 screens in the poster presentation foyer. It was really great to see the poster sessions have grown in participation since last year’s event. Here’s some comparison shots of the set up before the event started and during the poster session.

IAC

Isak and Felicity travelled to Paris earlier this month to support iPoster sessions at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress. Each year the IAC is organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). This year the event was hosted by CNES, the French space agency. There were participants from over 80 countries across the world taking part.

There were over 800 iPosters presented on 50 screens across 3 poster sessions throughout the event. We were really impressed to see the level of engagement and effort put into the presentations and how quickly the very large presentation hall filled up with participants.

APSA

The Annual American Political Science (APSA) Meeting took place in Montreal, Canada over the past 4 days. We’re very proud and excited to have been working with APSA conference organizers at this event for the 7th consecutive year.

Our US based project manager, Joe, worked diligently to help get everything together and looking its best in time for the start of the event late last week. We received lots of positive feedback from authors. Many enjoyed the templates, ease of use, communication tools (contact author/get iPoster) and ability to edit at the last minute.

There were over 220 iPosters available in the online gallery, which was available both on-site and virtually. The presentations showcased research across 60 political science divisions, including: Middle East and North African Politics and Information, Technology and Politics. AGU-FIHM

Joe was on-site in San Juan, supporting at the Frontiers in Hydrology Meeting (FIHM) sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU). The theme was The Future of Water. There were close to 300 iPosters created and on display throughout and after the event. FIHM brought together students and professionals from engineering, urban planning, social science, and affiliated science communities. It focused on topics of environmental justice and equity, managing scarce resources, projecting the future, and simulating complex systems.
