APSA

The Annual American Political Science (APSA) Meeting took place in Montreal, Canada over the past 4 days. We’re very proud and excited to have been working with APSA conference organizers at this event for the 7th consecutive year.

Our US based project manager, Joe, worked diligently to help get everything together and looking its best in time for the start of the event late last week. We received lots of positive feedback from authors. Many enjoyed the templates, ease of use, communication tools (contact author/get iPoster) and ability to edit at the last minute.

There were over 220 iPosters available in the online gallery, which was available both on-site and virtually. The presentations showcased research across 60 political science divisions, including: Middle East and North African Politics and Information, Technology and Politics. Check out the iPosters in the 2022 APSA iPoster Gallery and previous years’ galleries.

AGU-FIHM

Joe was on-site in San Juan, supporting at the Frontiers in Hydrology Meeting (FIHM) sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU). The theme was The Future of Water. There were close to 300 iPosters created and on display throughout and after the event. FIHM brought together students and professionals from engineering, urban planning, social science, and affiliated science communities. It focused on topics of environmental justice and equity, managing scarce resources, projecting the future, and simulating complex systems.

Thermo Fisher

Discussions and networking were in full swing at the Thermo Fisher 2022 MSD Technology Conference. New research and innovations were presented across 100 iPosters at the meeting in The Netherlands this week. Christer and Axel were on-site to support authors and presenters. We received some excellent feedback from meeting organizers and participants saying that they absolutely loved the format and interacting with the iPosters.

AOA

Rick was on-site supporting the poster sessions at the American Orthopaedic Associations’s Annual Leadership Meeting. Stakeholders came together to share research and exchange ideas about current topics and issues shaping the specialty. There were 120 iPosters on display at the event, showcasing important research in the field. The AOA have made the posters from this year’s meeting available to the public. AAS240

Last week Saga, Isak and Joe were in Pasadena, California supporting iPoster authors and participants at the American Astronomical Society (AAS) Summer meeting, AAS240.

AAS240 presenters used iPosterSessions’ built-in multimedia features to display hi-res images, GIFS, and detailed charts, maps and tables; run videos and 3D visualizations; play narrations and other audio files; and set up chats and video presentations for online discussions. It was mind blowing to see all of the creative ways that authors were able to use iPoster features to better showcase and communicate their research and ideas to participants, both in-person and virtual.

You can see one great example of this by clicking on the below poster. John Boisvert’s poster explores how Slooh’s online telescope is helping to teach k-12 students about astronomy.
