We’re in Wichita Kansas at the annual research symposium for K-INBRE – the Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence. 160 outstanding Kansas biomedical students and scientists presented their research on 40 55″ interactive touch screens.
K-INBRE is funded by the National Institutes of Health and administered by the Kansas University Medical Center. It comprises nine academic institutions in Kansas, including the University of Kansas and the Haskell Indian Nations University. A key goal of the K-INBRE program is to identify and recruit promising undergraduate science students into careers in biomedical research in Kansas.
